Sponsorship supercharges our donations to the RFDS
While all our participants relish the miles slipping under their boats on the Mighty Murray, they also gain great satisfaction from the knowledge that their fundraising efforts help the RFDS to provide an essential service to rural and outback Australia.
Participating teams have developed all sorts of inventive ways to raise funds, but probably the most effective is securing corporate sponsorship for the event.
Sponsors/supporters have been drawn from the employers of team members, from businesses local to participating rowing clubs and even from rowers themselves who manage businesses and include the RFDS in their corporate sponsorship schedule. Naming rights are available to sponsoring organisatons.
